Title IV Programs included in this 监管 are Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant, 教授予, 或联邦直接贷款. Federal Work-Study funds are not included in this 监管.

计算是根据学生的正式退学日期或非正式退学进行的, the last date of an academically related activity that the 学生 participated in, 学期的中点, or the date the school determines the 学生 ceased attendance due to illness, 事故, grievous personal loss or other circumstances beyond the 学生’s control. Unofficial withdrawal dates are determined by the faculty, identifying the last date 的 activity for courses where a 学生 earned an ‘F’, ‘I’, 或“W”.

的 withdrawal date must be determined within 30 days 的 end 的 term, 学年或学生项目, 以较早的为准.

雅典州立大学 offers all degree programs in a credit hour, term based format. 作为一个学分, 学期制学位课程, the following formula is used to compute aid to be returned:

(Days Enrolled/ Days in Term) x Title IV 援助 Awarded and Disbursed = 援助 Earned

  6. Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant

If a 学生 earned less aid than was disbursed, 学校将被要求返还一部分资金,学生也将被要求返还一部分资金. Keep in mind that when Title IV funds are returned, the 学生 borrower will owe a debit balance to the institution.

If a 学生 earned more aid than was disbursed to him/her, the institution will owe the 学生 a post-withdrawal disbursement, to be paid within 120 days 的 学生’s withdrawal.

This 监管 does not limit the University’s Refund Policy.

Additional Withdrawal Implications Information

Once a 学生 has completed any course twice with a passing 年级, they are no longer eligible to receive aid for that course. 的 教育部 considers a passing 年级 as any 年级 great than a failing, 或“F”, 年级.

A 学生 may receive aid when repeating a course that was previously 失败的 (received a 0.0), regardless 的 number of times the course was attempted and 失败的.

雅典州立大学已经批准了以下标准来定义令人满意的学术进步(SAP), in accordance with 监管s issued by the U.S.

Higher Education Act of 1965 (HEA), making several important changes to 学生 eligibility criteria.
